1. The indictor is still off and no display on the screen after the unit is switched on;
1) Check power supply
2) Check the power cord and plug
3) Check if the fuse is broken;
4) Turn the knobs "BRIGHT" and "CONTRAST"
2. Characters are displayed on the screen but no images available when the power supply is switched on:
a) Check if the plug of the probe is correctly connected,
b) Check if the Near Field, Far Field and Gain are correctly adjusted, ensure that they are not turned to the Min.value.
3. Interrupted Stripe and snow-shaped interference on the screen:
a) Check if it power supply is interfered by other electrical equipment;
b) Check if operation condition is free from any electrical or magnetic interference;
c) Check if power supply, probe and plugs are well connected or not;
d) Far field interference is strong when you hold the probe in hand but it turns ok when you put it down; Please find out the interference source;
e) Check if the grounding wire is connected or not;
4. Image isn't clear enough:
a) Adjust the far, medium or near field and the gain;
b) Adjust the brightness and contrast;
c) Clean the organic glass of the display;
5. Good image but the mouse doesn't work well:
a) Refer to How to Clean the Mouse
6. Good image but the fan doesn't work when the unit is on;
a) Brush off all dirt or dust inside the fan;
b) Change a new one if the fan is broken down;
7. Image isn't clear if seen at a near, medium or long distance:
1)Adjust the gain, near, medium or far field
8. what shall we do when the image distorted in !4¡åmonitor?
a) adjust H-PHASE on the back of the monitor to restore it to normal state. If you think the image is too big or small, slide NOR REL on the back of the monitor, the image will scale down if slided left, or up if slided right;
9. Why do we hear 'chacha" from inside the probe?
It is normal, the sound is released when the transistor inside the probe works. As for linear array probe, you will hear no sound when the probe is frozen; as for convex array probe, sound can be heard no matter the probe is frozen or not, otherwise, the probe will stop working;

Advantages: finer and clearer image
Disadvantages: the area of the probe is comparatively large, not so convenient to observe the organs (like heart )through the gap between rib bones
Our unit is equipped with a probe which has smaller detecting area, can be used to measure heart rate and EF.
2) Ultrasound Scanner with Convex Array Probe
We have manufactured EMP-800,EMP-1000, EMP-1000(false color) by combining the advantages of above-mentioned two probes and discarding their disadvantages. They can not only be used to observe the heart ,but also to diagnose abdomen and OB/GYN.
